The Arsehole Prophecy: A Warning for Our Times

Updated: Apr 6

The Prophecy of the Apathetic

Albert Einstein, a man who mapped the very fabric of the universe, gave us a formula for our own destruction that didn’t require a chalkboard. It was a theory so stripped of ego that even a half-wit could grasp it, yet here we are, drowning in the reality he predicted. The guilty he spoke of aren’t just the villains in the headlines. They are the arseholes standing by, hands in their pockets, watching the clock run out while the ship takes on water.

"The world will not be destroyed by men who do evil, but by those who stand by and watch and do nothing about it." — Albert Einstein

How to Spot the Arsehole

There has always been a rule of thumb I have held onto, passed down from the elders of my Donnelly family: “If you walk into a room full of people and you can't spot the arsehole, chances are it’s you!”

In the theater of modern politics, this rule rings true. If you walk into a room and can’t spot the arsehole, he hasn’t arrived yet, or he’s hiding in the back, waiting for his cue. If you check every corner and still find nothing, start asking around. Within minutes, the arsehole will reveal himself.

But there is a deeper level to this pathology. If he finally shows up after the damage is done, you’re dealing with something far more sinister. There is only one thing worse than an arsehole, and that is the arsehole’s arsehole. History has seen men removed for far less than the audacity we witness today. We are witnessing a masterclass in how to weaponize the silence of the majority.

The Real-Time Anatomy of an Arsehole

Look at our airports as of March 2026. The official line from the White House and Border Czar Tom Homan is that this is a temporary fix for a staffing crisis. Because of the ongoing partial government shutdown, TSA agents have been working without pay for weeks. They are quitting or calling in sick, and the lines at JFK and Atlanta are three hours deep.

The solution? Moving in ICE agents as a force multiplier. On the surface, it’s a logistical fix. But if you zoom out, you see the real agenda. It’s a classic arsehole maneuver. Create a crisis through neglect, then solve it with tyranny.

The One-Way Flow: Prison for Profit

But let's look at the money, because that’s where the wit meets the wise. While TSA workers go without pay, the private prison industry is seeing a financial windfall. Companies like GEO Group and CoreCivic are reporting record profits, with the administration aiming for a goal of 100,000 detention beds.

When you put ICE agents at the gate, you aren't just moving lines. You are creating a funnel. These agents are trained for field arrests, not airport safety. Every secondary screening and every "questionable" document at a TSA checkpoint becomes a potential one-way ticket to a for-profit detention center. It is a vertical integration of enforcement: create the chaos, deploy the catchers, and fill the beds for the investors. The airport is no longer a place of travel; it is a processing center for a deportation machine wrapped in bullshit skullduggery that has a bottom line to meet.

The Operational Risks of the Arsehole Method

The risks are terrifying. TSA agents spend months learning to spot explosives. ICE agents are trained for tactical detention. You cannot improvise aviation security with armed agents who don’t know the difference between a hair dryer and a pipe bomb.

But the arsehole in charge doesn’t care about competence. He cares about the show. He wants the optics of masked men with badges standing over civilians. He wants to see the remaining TSA staff intimidated by the very help sent to assist them. This isn't security. It's a stage play where the audience is being held hostage to satisfy a balance sheet.

The Infrastructure of Apathy

By the time the smoke clears, the chorus will be the same: "How did we get here?" The answer will be a bitter pill. You can’t put the full weight on the primary arsehole. The blame belongs to the secondary arseholes who cheered him on, the ones who stood by while the TSA went unpaid, and the ones who let the "investor-driven" deportation machine take over the terminals.

Every middle manager who follows an illegal order, every politician who stays quiet to protect their seat, and every citizen who looks the other way is a gear in the machine. That is the true weight of the Einstein theory. It takes a village of arseholes to raise a tyrant.

The Final Question

Einstein was a man who knew a thing or two about the weight of existence. He already pointed out the arsehole in the room. Don’t take my word for it. Listen to the man who was nobody’s arsehole. He was just a brilliant, honest bastard.

The Path Forward: A Call to Action

So, what can we do? It starts with awareness. We must educate ourselves and others about the systems at play. Engage in conversations that matter. Share your thoughts, your fears, and your hopes. We need to create a culture that values accountability over apathy.

Let’s not be the silent majority. Let’s be the loud minority that demands change. We can’t afford to stand by and watch. The time for action is now.

Conclusion: The Power of Collective Voices

In the end, it’s our collective voices that will shape the future. We have the power to challenge the status quo and hold the arseholes accountable. Let’s rise together and ensure that we are not just passive observers in this unfolding drama.

Remember, the world will not change unless we are willing to change it. So, let’s get to work.
