Waiting On The Flockers Peter & Helen: First Episode

Welcome back to The Jive Wire. It is Ants here and I want to give you all a look into what is happening right out on my Toronto balcony.
We are officially rolling with our documentary project Waiting On The Flockers. If you have been following along you know we have two new residents named Peter and Helen.
I named these two pigeons after my late grandparents. They hold a really deep personal significance for me. Whenever I went through hard times after my grandparents passed away a pair of pigeons always seemed to show up and bring me some comfort. Now I have this beautiful pair right here and I have set them up with a proper safe space. I built them a nice twig border windbreak and I make sure they have plenty of wild bird seed and fresh water every single day.
Over the next six to seven weeks we are going to be watching these babies hatch and eventually fly away. It is going to be a great journey and I am thrilled to share it with all of you right here on Black Donnelly Media. Grab a coffee and keep your eyes peeled for the next episode.
