CANADA'S SHAME: The Alberta Fifth Column Trading Ottawa For Washington!
Updated: Oct 11
To the Alberta separatists screaming about taking back control of your province, you cannot simultaneously try to sell the soul of your backyard to Washington and expect the rest of Canada to just sit back and watch.

It is Ants here. You and I need to have a serious conversation about the absolute hypocrisy happening right in front of our eyes. A massive new investigation from the Globe and Mail just ripped the lid off the backroom dealings of the separatist movement. Figures like Dennis Modry and the Alberta Prosperity Project have allegedly been proposing the ultimate betrayal of Canadian sovereignty. They pitched giving the United States access to Canadian fresh water and our oil royalties in exchange for American political support for independence. You tell everyday Albertans that you want to break free from federal overreach, only to turn around and offer the keys to our natural resources to a foreign superpower.
The Hypocrisy Does Not Stop At The Border

This investigation completely exposed that Republican political operatives from Michigan actually traveled up to Calgary to meet with these separatist organizers. They were there to discuss voter targeting technology ahead of the upcoming vote. You have to ask yourself what kind of sovereign movement relies on the backroom tactics of American political mercenaries. They are actively coordinating with foreign operatives to fracture our country so they can serve up our wealth on a silver platter.
Now let us talk about the actual reality on the ground as we head into the October 19 referendum. The separatists have created an incredibly loud echo chamber making it feel like the entire province is ready to pack up and leave. But the cold hard polling numbers tell a completely different story. Elections Alberta expects a record voter turnout, and public opinion polls strongly indicate that an overwhelming majority of Albertans will vote to remain in Canada. The fringe is desperately trying to mistake their own noise for the voice of the majority.
We Need To Break Down

the brutal reality of what a Yes vote
actually triggers the morning after the ballots are counted. Let us start with the geographic trap. An independent Alberta would be entirely landlocked. You would instantly lose unfettered access to Canadian ports on both coasts. Every single piece of cargo and every barrel of oil would require you to negotiate massive tariffs and navigate international border checkpoints just to reach open water. You will be completely boxed in and paying extreme premiums just to get your goods out of the driveway.
Then there is the financial nightmare of trying to fund a newly sovereign state. The Alberta Prosperity Project reportedly considered seeking a massive United States credit facility just to pay for the transition period. They planned to use Alberta oil assets and royalties to repay this astronomical debt. Your new nation would be born completely bankrupt and massively indebted to a foreign superpower from day one. You are trading a seat at the Canadian table for a permanent subservient role to American political interests.
You also cannot ignore the ironclad legal reality of Indigenous land treaties. These monumental agreements were negotiated federally with the Crown, not with a breakaway provincial government. A fractured Alberta would have absolutely no legal jurisdiction over these lands. You would have to renegotiate vast swathes of territorial rights entirely from scratch. The First Nations hold massive constitutional power and their rights will completely paralyze any dreams of unregulated resource extraction.
So what happens when this gamble inevitably fails?
You need to prepare for the psychological reality of the morning after. When this referendum fails, the political leadership that flirted so heavily with separation will have to return to the federal negotiating table. They will sit across from the exact same leaders they just spent years trying to sabotage. It is going to be the ultimate political walk of shame. They will have burned through millions of taxpayer dollars threatening a divorce, only to realize they cannot afford to move out of the house.
We cannot look at this as a victory for the
rest of Canada to gloat over. It is a profoundly tragic waste of time and resources. We are living in a time when the entire country should have been completely united against actual global threats. Instead, we have been distracted by a fringe movement willing to sell out our fresh water and oil to Washington just to stroke their own egos. It is time to put an end to this dangerous fantasy and get back to the real work of building a strong united country.
If you disagree, drop your thoughts in the comments, but answer this one specific question for me first. If the separatist plan is truly about taking back control, why is their very first move to surrender your fresh water and oil royalties to the United States?
